By the numbers
These numbers are the result measurement indicators tracked year over year. Metrics help us understand the demand for our programs and quantify the impact we’ve had on young Canadians.
Partnerships and representation are essential for sustainable systems-change work; this includes reaching a large number of post-secondaries that connect us to a diverse community of students and recent grads. The relationships we've built with employers catalyze impact by providing options to participants.
These are critical metrics across all VFC programs. You’ll see detailed breakdowns by the program throughout the report.

Despite COVID-19 pandemic challenges, demand for our programs continues to increase. Our growing network of participants with diverse backgrounds is represented through our increased commitment to underserved communities, as defined by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC.)
To activate our impact in 2021, a focus on relationship building with partners like RBC, Women’s Economic Forum, MAIN Quebec, Enactus Canada, Tech Summit Black, and many others increased our capacity and ability to share our learnings.
