Training for one eleven

VFC delivered our first “training as a service” offering. A curriculum for OneEleven employs a design>curate>deliver model and leverages external delivery partners to bring a range of training and mentorship opportunities to its member company employees.

Matthew Lombardi, Managing Director of OneEleven, set out to solve a problem he saw time and time again: founders expressed the greatest exasperation when it comes to headcount growth. A specific pain point is strong individual contributors becoming people managers as their teams rapidly expand.

A first-of-its-kind curriculum for OneEleven, VFC created both attributable and measurable programming for emerging team leaders and managers at post-seed companies across three functional areas: Sales/Marketing, Customer Success, and Product for OneEleven.

They say it all

“...if you want to go far, go together.”

This year, we dug into data, listened to feedback, and asked questions to hear what the community had to say. We iterated, grew, and mobilized our community along the way.

“VFC and TimberTop are like Simon and Garfunkel, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Robbie Robertson and Levon Helm, Gerry Garcia and Bob Weir, Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham… One of the best parts of my summer is connecting with your organization.”

“One of the most important dimensions leading to success in skill development and placement programs is that the voices of all types of stakeholders are brought together. These voices each contribute to a symphony which comprises thoughtful consultation and engagement approaches, meaningful incentive systems, and relevant content and timing.”
